In My Own Bubble

Framed in black. Tells a very personal story of my own journey during the Covid Pandemic. Staying home in an imagined bubble to stave off illness. Working daily in my garden to help produce food for us and others. Finding respite in painting and writing. In this painting, there are two meanings. I created a bubble of protection, sending Covid away, and I am also standing at the top of the stairs to my garden, saying goodbye as I prepared to move from Hawaii. A very emotional piece.
